· Holding Co . For Food Industries is an Egyptian Holding joint - stock company affiliated to the Ministry of Investment.
· HCFI was established according to decree of prime minister under name of Public Sector of Food Industries by law 203 for the year 1997 . All the capital is owned by government.
· HCFI paid capital is 2.5 Milliar Egyptian pounds HCFI invests its capital through its affiliated companies or may invest its capital by itself whenever necessary .Volume of business is amounted 15 Milliar Egyptian pounds .
· HCFI has 22 companies under law 203 In 1991 and 13 companies under law 159 in 1981 . HCFI and its affiliated companies are sharing in 12 sharing companies under law no 8 in 1997 .
The campaniles activities are the following :- Sugar industry , Oils Soap , Detergents , Animal feeds , Starch & Yeast , Preserved Foods , Milk , Wheat milling , Rice milling , Macaroni , Papers , Woods , cereals storage all of strategic products in addition to activities of distributing food industries .
